Marketing Support

Probably the least favorite task for holistic businesses, next to bookkeeping and taxes, is marketing. We know its essential if we are to thrive, but we procrastinate because it's not where we want to spend our time and its not what we are comfortable doing.

We're also in the midst of a shift in the way people get their information, including advertising. No longer is print media enough as we now have to be online with websites, email newsletters, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. New things to earn and update.

There are three opportunities coming up that speak directly to holistic businesses and will help you navigate the new world of advertising. Taking advantage of them will not only save you time and money, but should increase your business and help you become more comfortable with the new media.

I hope you'll seriously consider taking one or more of the classes, as opportunities specifically for holistic businesses don't occur that often.

Business Skills Enhancement Day

The Door Opener is bringing together four presenters who regularly work with holistic businesses to talk about today's world of advertising and marketing. The workshop will be held next Saturday, May 8 in Bloomfield and covers e-marketing, social networks, websites, videos, list development and much more. It is not limited to addressing business tools, but discusses spiritual tools as well, such as belief systems and manifesting. The cost is $70.

DORY DZINSKI says, "We want to see you succeed in what you love to do - your business! This is not a pitch to advertise with The Door Opener - we try to support our communities in all the ways we can. We are putting on this day for you to become better informed of all of your choices and to present your absolute best!"
